One of my favorite spots to eat in Beijing! True to their word, food is always very fresh and tasty. Also think the bento boxes are a great value for their price. Their delivery service is great too, miso soup always makes it to my by door piping hot even in the middle of winter!!!

This new eatery is a welcome addition to Central Park, with quick (and English-speaking) service and a rich menu of yummy options! We had the beef sukiyaki and the terriyaki salmon - both were great and we'll definitely be back to try the delicious looking salads! I would recommend opting for the obentos flavoured rice (more interesting thansteamed rice hehe) and the miso soup as it is excellent. With outdoor seating options as well, this is a great place to grab a quick and healthy bite to eat!

They're open now. And they've got a great salad selection. It's a shame the winter weather is coming because it would have been great to enjoy Obentos outside during the summer months. Regardless, the restaurant has a fresh interior and stand-up bento boxes.

[HTML_REMOVED] With healthy, reasonably priced food and excellent service, Obentos is already packing in the CBD suits. The food is simple and thoughtfully put together, but don’t expect revolutionary flavors. Still, we’d be happy to eat lunch here any day. The small salads (¥25) are actually very big, with unique ingredient combinations. We tried the fresh tofu salad, made with lettuce, tomato, carrots, cucumber, cooked spinach, fish flakes, soft tofu, sesame and sunflower seeds, and ginger. It comes with an exceedingly good sesame dressing—the highlight of our lunch. The Obentos salad is made with lettuce, carrots, pear, avocado and pumpkin seeds, with a tangy lemon ginger dressing. The avocado could have been riper, but for ¥25, it’s hard to complain. Our teriyaki chicken bento box (¥52) came with wasabi mashed potatoes and vegetables. You get a choice of miso soup or a soft drink, and a choice of coleslaw or one of two kinds of rice. We highly recommend the Obentos rice, which is flavored with soy and mixed with carrot, mushrooms and bits of glass noodles. You need to go to the counter to order, but service there is particularly impressive, with fluent English and complete knowledge of the menu. We just hope the delivery zone expands past the Central Park area soon.
