The best Korean restaurant in the world. I am serious, i spent more money on good food than alcohol and i have more stamps in my passport to back this claim. Great service, lots of free goodies and the beef is quality. Yes it is a tad expensive but quality meat is never cheap. Can't afford it, stay at home.

This is my favorite korean place in Beijing. The high end and well designed atmosphere offers a very peaceful and dining ambiance, along with the top notch service from the well trained staff. I've tried most of the dishes there and the bbq meats are the best i've tried. They have majority of the classic korean, and they are exceptional. including other random dishes. I've never tried their sushi there, since they're not a japanese restaurant. I highly recommend the hot pot noodles at the end of you meal. The free salads and side dishes are enough to fill you up before the main comes out. Be sure to save your stomach for the most amazing free desert at the end. Although expensive, i highly recommend everyone to try it at least once.
4.5 stars. I didn't think this place was necessarily any better than Suraon next door, but the kimchee pancake was seriously fantastic. Loved all the free side dishes and thought the service was excellent. Kimchee fried rice is spicy but great. Korean food is, in general, delicious, and Ai Jiang Shan does it very well.
