We have Good selection of bottled & Draft beers from around the world that we change regularly so as you can always find something to suit your tastes. 3 plasma TVs across 2 floors playing sports and movies every night. Come meet some new people to chill out with a beer and some great music, shoot some pool on the second level or just relax and take advantage of the free wifi.

an ode to Alex “The Terminator” Taylor, quiz master extraordinaire
6 months ago to this very day t’was the time Mr Taylor last had his way sick of dry spells and drought, he started to doubt, if ever again he would get his knob out!
“Wait!” said the brick! “Don’t retire your dick!” I have a plan so cunning it would make a fox sick!

“Free beer you say!” a change of his luck secretly thinking “ I could get a lady companion
and so it began, the trivia night and many fine ladies did Alex invite. It started off well, the girls were impressed While Alex was thinking he’d get ‘em undressed
But alas, there’s a catch- the curse for free beer! For when alex is drinking, the ladies steer clear But don’t get us wrong folks, he sometimes does well, A number of ladies hath succumb to his spell
But it always comes down to that fatal decision, “just one more beer, to help my precision” “shot’s, terminators, PBR, ale, they must be the reason that I always fail?”
the madam was first, but that didn’t work, she took back her i-phone and called him a jerk!
The Japanese maiden, a sure fire bet, But failure still to get his dick wet
Next on the horizon, a mysterious stranger, Alex went in, heedless of danger This one he tempted back to his lair, I’m in! he thought, she’s washing her hair So exited was he, he howled at the moon, But lo and behold, she just wanted to spoon ☹
Whether more girls will come has yet to be seen, But Alex stays patient, in wait of his queen So if any young beauty would care to assist come to the brick, put your name on the list!

Great selection of beers, mixed drinks and even a bit of bar food (the burritos are surprisingly good). The pool table upstairs is great, but the downstairs area is usually too packed to find seating on weekends. If this bar were somewhere more central I'd make it my after-work beer pit stop, but its a bit too far away. I'd skip the skittle shots next time-- a real hangover-maker!

I don't go out much these days but when I do I'm glad I have an establishment as perfect as The Brick as my local. A quick pint before the cinema or a snack on the way home, The Brick has the perfect mix of good drinks, great snacks and friendly banter.
It changed hands a few months back, and there have been some nice improvements since. My favourite of which is "The Terminator", if you can have a few of those without falling off your stool you're doing better than me.
Most importantly, if you don't check it our within the next month YOU WILL LITERALLY DIE OF AIDS. (probably)

Still going strong. Went there on a random saturday night and enjoyed their band. Best of all the scene has really matured out there. It's not just hipster wanna-be's snorting whippets in the bathroom. Now it's a very mixed crowd, expat and local, young and slightly older.

Ryno Sorry you had a bad experience at the saddle. Knowing of your expertise in Beijing bar business, im sure you have a great sense of what it takes to run a profitable restaurant or bar. Please feel free to enlighten me on any improvements you see fit to operate a successful business such as the brick which does a fraction( if that) of the business as the saddle does. Since we are both in the hospitality maybe it would be more professional if this were a conversation we had face to face instead of having it over a public forum. All the best, Gordon

man, this place gets better and better.. it has been awhile since my last visit here, and they have done a great job with the remodel. the space is perfect. more of a comfort fill. its hot at the moment thanks to the weather, and the owners talking about a broke AC unit. but their new food menu, the switch to Asahi and Strongbow draft.. PERFECT.. i only wish i lived in the neighborhood, or visited more often.. thanks guys, and best of luck.

Perphas there are not any bars around there, that's why the drinks are very very expensive.
Tiger on tap is a great decision, but cocktails and mocktails are not good.
Should have had a better menu with correct spelling and explanation.

Good selection of beer, expanded whiskey selection and the Brick Tea is delicious. Great idea. I love Brick Tea. Has a guy's bar feel to it: pool, movies, music, and video games. A good place to hang out with friends or meet friendly people.

great place, always some one interesting to talk to and a great way to meet the other lao wai living in the shuangjing hood. wish it was a little higher priced to keep out those cheap assed expat "entrepreneurs" and other social riff raff that take up space in so many cool little bars in this town.

Nice litle cozy bar. People there very friendly, cheap drink and you can play pool too.

Voted best neighborhood bar by unofficial tallies, THE Brick is a great place to meet people, play pool, listen to good music. The bartender's are American. Unlike other "western bars", this one feels like you've warped into a small neighborhood bar in the States.

cool hidden bar, located just around the corner of Le Cheng Centre or across the Viva mall around the Shuang Jing neighborhood. The Brick serves pretty decent drinks, the mojitos are nice, great selection of beer as well. The snack are pretty good as well - the jalapenos with cheese, the nachos and burritos are superb, I know this sounds nuts but nice fries basket too. Would definitely come back!

Good selection of booze, great value, and a family-run atmosphere that's hard to find in Beijing. We had a good laugh our first night there. Cheers to yous. Here's hoping this place stays around a long time.

This place was great, it reminded me of a joint i would visit back in Kentucky. I loved the bike on the wall and the story the tattooed bartender had with them. The selection of beer was good, and they have Tiger on draft.. This is a nice relaxing change from the Salitun bar scene and close to home..

I like all things about the bar, especial the man and the wife who do everything for the bar’s operation. The layout of The brick is concise and special. You can write anything you want to express on the blackboard. The salsa is my favorite snack，its element materials are the corn pancake and the sauces with different taste which are made from different fruit and herb.

Great local bar with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Couldn't ask for a closer and more convenient watering hole. Best part are the cheap beers and great company. The Skittle-infused vodka is definitely worth a try or 5!! I highly recommend the Strawberry flavor. The authentic burritos and salsa are all reasonably priced and are the best I've had in the 3 years living here in Beijing.
Whether passing by after a long day of work for a beer or just looking for a non-pretentious place to hang out with friends and make new ones, the husband & wife, owned and operated bar known as The Brick, is a great new addition to the CBD area!! Glad it's here and hope the word gets out!!
Needs some cheap stuff for the low life clientle.
