Tushuguan 98 (the library 98) is a Gu Lou Area bar with cheap prices, great sound and all kinds of funny activities such as book swaps, cinema afternoons, live music, etc. Understated comfy design. Laowai lost in Hutong ambiante. Different styles of music. Arty-farty public. Come and improve it!

My friend just called from the hospital to tell me that the TSG98 pizza really rocked his kidneys! No, no, no - I know what you're thinking: food poisoning? No, no rest assured: his visit to the hospital had nothing to do with the Tushuguan98 pizza. Maybe it was remotely connected to the 5 absinthes he had that night and then that chick that made tempers flare and the little brawl that ensued... However, fear not, TSG98 is a great place to have fun and make friends.

Nice place especially since the terrace opened!
Leafy relaxed atmosphere and self service chuanr on the rooftop! Plus REALLY CHEAP beer. Even cheaper in the happy hour (17h to 19h)
Plus the occasional video/music happening on Fri-Sat evenings.
What else do you need to enjoy an break from work?
This place is really nice and the French bartender very cool. I organized a birthday party for my friends there, total success! Food and drinks are cheap and good! They organize a lot of events, so keep updated!
