I wouldnt say its the best Western food resturant in GZ, however I was most delighted over what we ordered from the a la carte menue. A must try is the Garlic soup, that one blew my mind. My missus had lamb rack for her main, and that was cooked to perfection. I think they could have a few more main courses on the a la carte, more in the beef section. The service was a bit so so from the CN staff, but then again. This place has just opened and they are in a training phase, could be accepted during a period of time. The wine selection is awesome, so if you are into wines, then dont bother to visit any other place:-). The prices for the food was in my opinion too low, suggested they would increase them a bit. However their GM turned my suggestion down:-). Anyway, given time this place will for sure become a nice spot for us pigs that love taste food. I would for sure recommend it to anyone who enjoys fantastic food flavours more then the other "wannabe western" resturants in GZ. Just go there and enjoy !

FInally a real good western food restaurant in Guangzhou. After several disapointing restaurant visit we found this new gourmet restaurant. It is runned by swedish guys and th food is really top gourmet. We went for the 7 course menu including wine suggestions only 488 Rmb and we were totally lost. Started with 37-degrees salmon and ginger mayo- superb - then the soya marinated tuna with lemongrass jelly and pine nut cream. Creamy garlic soup with fred pork, yummy and then turbot fish with cauliflower purée and roasted macadamian nuts, the filet steak american angus was really tender and the magnificant dessert of apple and cinnamon ice-cream - perfect- every dish is served with selected wine and explained. The Chinese manager spoke perfect english and we had our best dinner in a long time. Must go soon again. Marcus and wife.
Its pity that people doesnt seem to find this place, the food is really outstanding not to mention the huge wine selection. The friendly owner also takes time to discuss food and wine with the guests, helping them to pick a good combination between wine and the ordered food. The menue is not huge, but be sure that what ever you order, your mouth will eperience joy and happiness. Go there and find out, its worth the trip and you will NOT be disapointed.
