The New Hummingbird Boutique on Fuxing Lu is Full of Treasures

Stepping inside this teeny boutique will make you feel like you’ve walked into a young girl’s treasure box. From feather earrings (RMB80) and silk turbans (from RMB480) to vintage purses (from RMB800), handmade ballet pumps (from RMB580) and clocks comprised of antique biscuit tins (RMB800), the shop is just like its name, Hummingbird: small, colorful and just as cool as other bigger birds. Everything in the store is either hand-picked by the interior designer owner from Europe and Japan or designed and handmade by local expat designers such as Marion Rosset, UKA and Jonas Merian. Be sure to check out the retro rotary telephone clocks (RMB960) and the kettle lamp (RMB888) by Jona’s Design.
