This pavilion replicates the Lahore Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the cultural capital and heart of modern-day Pakistan. It is unknown when the fort was built, but archeological evidence reveals it was built long before 1025 A.D., and since then, has been destroyed and rebuilt numerous times, and even occupied by the British. Inside, visitors have a chance to taste Pakistani life, both literally and figuratively, in the restaurant and via multimedia presentations.



I wonder what will happen to this pavillion after the Expo is over. It has a quite "peculiar" design...
