City Weekend
says

Made of recyclable palm oil and plastic and shaped like a traditional Malaysian hut, the structure is symbolic of the theme, “One Malaysia—City Harmonious Living,” and of the peaceful harmony in which 47 ethnicities live. Golf fans can lounge in the indoor putting area and those feeling lucky can enter the lucky draws that will be held on key days of the Expo including Malaysia’s National Day (August 31) and the day China and Malaysia set up diplomatic relations (May 31).

I managed to sneak in just before it closed. At the entrance there is a little introduction of the different ethnic group living in Malaysia (Malays, Chinese, Indian …) and a shop and a few panels to read if I remember. Maybe it meant to be more the cultural /tradition part. In the second floor, there are showing some modern art painting pieces, price goes from 24 000 RMB to 500 000 RMB if you interested. And then they introduce what is I guess the biggest state company: Malaysia Pam oil (according to one of the panel, palm oil is used in 1/10 product), Malaysia Timber council (something is explained about cutting old tree and replacing by small one and CO2) and Malaysia Rubber expert Promotion council with an exhibition of Standard Malaysian gloves…Maybe the second floor meant to be the more modern part. Overall, I would say I like the outside more than the inside; the part that kept my attention inside was the sponsors’ parts (?) with the introduction of the Palm oil/Timber/Rubber and the exhibition of gloves (It is part of the unexpected things to find at expo!!!)
