The gateway to England’s Northwest, Liverpool is one of two UK cities to build its own pavilion in this year’s Expo (London being the other). A virtual 3D journey transports visitors from Shanghai to Liverpool, up the River Mersey, above the city then over the major attractions of the Northwest. This pavilion is situated in the Best Urban Practices Area, neighboring Venice, Cairo, Suzhou and Hangzhou.
Welcoming statement from Paul McCartney, who hails from Liverpool, leads into an interactive learning game about Liverpool's historical building. Let's just say you're going to have to "raise the roof" to get the facts. It can be fun. Worth a visit.
