We appreciate all of our customers comments and concerns, in you situation I believe it is fair to let the rest of our readers know some background infomation about what we agreed on before party time. When we met, you told me your party was going to be for a 3 year old and for a 5 year old at the same time. When you asked me about the clown I said the clown would not play any games with the kids, and that she would only make ballon twisting for them, reason for what I offered to play some games with the kidsa myself. Then you said that some of the kids did not speak english and that due to the large age range simpler games would be required, so that all of the kids would be able to play, because of course you cannot expect a 3 year old to follow the same instructrions as a 5 year old, so I ,before the party I emailed you some simple game options that requiered little instruction so the kids wouldd be able to play (we played musical chairs and freeze dance), that you agreed on, as always giving you the chance to change them if you didn't like them, but you agreed. Then you forgot to mention, that on the facepainting, free nail painting and tatoos were given to the kids, which acording to their demand was a great idea, because they even had to line up to get their tatoos and nails done. Even though I am a "lone foregin student" , as you said, I take great responsability and effort to make my company work and make all of my customers happy and satisfied. I am sorry for any incovencience that we may of have caused in your party. Kind Regrads,

I hired them for my son's 4th birthday party last Sunday 13th of Dec.
We had facepainting, game organizing, cake and pinata.
The games were great, the kids didn't stop running, screaming and playing, they had a great time! Also, the face painting included nail painting and free tatoos for the kids, which they loved!
Before the party I quoted with several party companies, and compared to the competition their prices are very similar, the good thing is that they offer all the services in a same place, so I didn't have to worry about hiring different people from different places.
I would hire them again for sure.

The "expatriate" management is actually a lone foreign student who does this on a part time basis, with the help of itinerant local staff.
I recently hired Party Box for my kids party and wish I hadn't. The proprietor charged RMB1100 for 2 hours of clown plus face painting/ games organising service. However the faces painted were ugly (four blobs of dark blue paint on a girl masquerading as a butterfly ??); the choice of games unimaginative.
But the clown took the cake - she was a lady who came in and sat apart from the party the whole time. At her one hour mark, she changed into a clown costume, sat on the floor, started blowing and twisiting balloons silently. Did not play or try to entertain the kids. It was bizarre.
Service on the whole was matter-of-fact, very little enthusiasm with the kids, and of a low standard.
Better find yourself a bigger, more established party company.

We hired Party Box for my daughter's 3rd birthday party this past Saturday. We just arrived in Shanghai and you can imagine my relief when I found out that Party Box would be able to make all the arrangements - as I would have no clue where to start! (As usual) I got started last minute and once I had my sit-down meeting with Party Box they only had 4 days to arrange for everything.
We decided to use the following services: decorations, cake, face-painting, cotton candy, t-shirt painting and piñata. Everything was beautiful, well-arranged and professionally done. Our daughter had a blast as did the other kids there.
We will surely use Party Box for future parties! Thank you!
